Designer & Product Developer – Séfr

Gothenburg, Sweden | Full-time

Séfr is a Swedish fashion brand creating premium menswear and womenswear with a focus on refined tailoring, contemporary silhouettes, and carefully developed fabrics. Our collections are sold through a curated network of retailers worldwide as well as through our own e-commerce platform. We are now looking for a Designer & Product Developer to join our team and help shape the future of Séfr.

About the Role

Working closely with the founders, you will play a key role throughout the entire product development process—from initial concept and design to the final production-ready garment. This position combines creative design with technical product development and requires close collaboration with our suppliers across Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop menswear and womenswear collections.
• Conduct seasonal research on fabrics, colours, silhouettes, and trends.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs.
• Develop garment construction, fit, and detailing.
• Work closely with suppliers throughout the sampling and production process.
• Review and comment on fit samples, salesman samples, and PPS.
• Source and develop fabrics, trims, and garment details.
• Ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
• Contribute to collection planning and product strategy.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience in fashion design and product development.
• Has a strong eye for fit, proportion, and material quality.
• Is highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D and technical drawing.
• Has experience creating tech packs and managing product development through production.
• Communicates fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Is organised, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with short decision-making processes.
• Strong sewing skills, including the ability to construct and modify garment prototypes, are considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across both menswear and womenswear.
• Experience with woven garments, tailoring, and denim.
• Previous experience working with international suppliers and production.

WOMENS FITTING MODEL (Size 36)

The role

Séfr is currently seeking a female Fitting Model in size 36 to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role you will assist our Production and Design teams with the development and fitting of our product samples.* The fittings will take place at our Gothenburg HQ during office hours (full days, half days, or a few hours at a time). Ideally we are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who can come into work with short notice.

Requirements

To ensure the best fit, we require that you match the following measurements:

• Height: 168-175cm
• Chest: 83-87cm (the circumference of the bust, measured over the fullest part and around the body)
• Waist: 67-69cm (measured over the belly button and around the body)
• Seat: 91-95cm
• Arm length: 60-62cm
• Bicep: 25-29cm
• Thigh width: 52-54cm

How to measure

* Measure your chest circumference around your bust, over the fullest part.

* Measure your waist circumference around the smallest part of your stomach over the belly button, where your waist naturally curves in.

* Measure your seat circumference around your bottom, 19 cm below your waist.

* Measure your thigh circumference around the fullest part of your thighs.

* Measure your bicep circumference around the fullest part of your bicep.

Location

This is a flexible position based at Séfr’s HQ office located in central Gothenburg.

Start date

The start date for the position is flexible and immediate. Depending on the right candidate's availability. Selection and interviews occur continuously, and the position can be filled immediately.
